Kardamena - Kos island
Kardamena (Greek: Καρδάμενα), is a small Greek village 7 km from Kos Island International Airport at Antimachia, situated mid-way along the south coast of the island of Kos. Once a small fishing village, it has emerged as one of the most popular summer destinations, especially for British tourists, over the past two decades, offering scores of pubs and restaurants, bars and night clubs and water sports facilities. It reported a population of 1,783 inhabitants at the 2001 census and has a land area of 35.150 km².
Kardamaina is built on the site of the ancient settlement of Alasarna. During the 2nd century BC, Alasarna was an important urban center with one thousand citizens, to whom the slaves and the metics should be added.
The archaeological excavations have brought to light some impressive ruins. A Temple of Apollo, an extensive Early Christian settlement (from the very few known in Greece), as well as four basilicas that belong to the same period. Also many stone objects of everyday use (millstones, tools, vases, vessels, etc.), mostly made of volcanic and sedimentary rocks have been recovered so far.

"Bohemian Rhapsody" is a song by the British rock band Queen. It was written by Freddie Mercury for the band's 1975 album A Night at the Opera. The song has no chorus, instead consisting of three main parts: a ballad segment ending with a guitar solo, an operatic passage, and a heavy rock section.
When it was released as a single, "Bohemian Rhapsody" became a huge commercial success, staying at the top of the UK Singles Chart for nine weeks and selling more than a million copies by the end of January 1976.[1] It reached number one again in 1991 for five weeks following Mercury's death, eventually becoming the UK's third best selling single of all time.[2] It topped the charts in several other markets as well, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and The Netherlands. In the United States the song originally peaked at number nine in 1976; however, it returned to the chart at number two in 1992 following its appearance in the film Wayne's World revived its American popularity.
The single was accompanied by a promotional video, considered ground-breaking.[3] Although critical reaction was initially mixed, particularly in the United States, "Bohemian Rhapsody" remains one of Queen's most popular songs. Rolling Stone ranked it as the number 163 on their list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time".

Sat waiting for the coach to take us back to the Airport so thought I'd write my review. Well where do I start. We arrived later than expected due to a delay but was greeted by a full restuarant. The owner Andreas greeted us told where are room was and if we wanted to eat then he'd be more than happy to do us a meal. My wife had the Lamb Chops and I had the Chicken Gyros both were absolutely fantastic and plenty of it too. Next morning we woke to the amazing views and sound of the Aegean. We stopped in room 203 which has 2 stunning balconies. We had breakfast in the restuarant and that too was great. Not sure what lestajesta was moaning about as we've had 4 breakfasts during our stay and every time they've been bang on. Room was clean and spacious, beds were comfy which is always a bonus. Overall this place has a great setup and Andreas deserves a pat on the back.
